This week, we are making another 14 blocks!
Anne’s here to show you how she’s going with her quilt in this week’s video.
As we get into all the block sewing, now is a good time for us to say please don’t stress if you aren’t managing to keep up with the sewalong, we do realise that life can get in the way of sewing all the time (drat!), so just take your time and sew when you have a chance to.
Anne finds that getting things set up next to her sewing machine ready to sew for even 5 minutes here and there, it really does help (like in the last image).
Maybe get the feature diamond pinned or glued to the back of the template one evening, the next moment you have, trim the seam allowance of the feature diamond as per the video in week 3. The next moment you get, pin the border fabric to opposite sides of the template. Then you are ready to do a spot of sewing one evening or whenever you get a chance.
