Diamonds are forever, and this gorgeous quilt, Lucky Stripes by Elisabeth @brownbirddesigns celebrates this classic shape in a delightful way. Using strip pieced units and triangle construction, this stunner is a great way to use a jelly roll or favourite print collection, just pair it with a coordinating background for a delightful quilt.

Lone Star quilts are a classic design that is easily made modern with fabric selection. While theyโre traditionally considered a challenging pattern, Shannon from @moderntraditionalquilts has used jelly roll strips, strip piecing and a no y-seam technique to make this pattern very achievable.

The combination of fiery colours and stark black give the impression of a vibrant fire storm โ though this clever design would look equally amazing in other colour schemes (blues and white would create an icy effect instead).
