Anne from Said With Love shares some handy-dandy tricks for making paper removal a little less … sticky. (Spoiler alert: tweezers and water are your new best friends!). She also walks you through piecing your quilt top together, step by step.
🧷 Pinning and Pressing: Slow and Steady Wins the Race
When it comes to sewing your blocks together, a little extra pinning time now saves a lot of frustration later. Align those seams, pin carefully, and you’ll end up with a quilt top that’s smoother than a fresh jar of jam! 🍓
Pro tip: Anne presses her seams open to make everything lovely and flat – and a tailor’s clapper can help keep the blocks flat after pressing.

🎀 Binding Time (For Some!)
If you’re planning a single fabric binding, this is the week to make it! Anne even shows you her secret for perfectly matching stripes — a must-watch if you love a good stripy binding and want to know how to match those pesky stripes!
If you’re going for a gradated binding to match your background fabrics (so fancy! ✨), hang tight — we’ll tackle that after your quilt top has been quilted, next week.
