Step One
Go to our homepage and click on the menu icon in the top right hand corner (three stacked bars).
Step Two
Click on Quilt Patterns in the menu bar.
Step Three
Our Quilt Patterns database has one photo from every project we’ve ever published in Make Modern magazine. You can simply scroll through the images, see which issue a pattern was featured in as well as the pattern designer (click on their name to visit their Instagram page).
Step Four
You may like to search for a particular category of project โ whether it be beginner-friendly modern quilts, English Paper Piecing (EPP), Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP), a modern baby quilt, a cushion or zippy pouch, a scrappy quilt, or something else. Here you can see that I have clicked on Rainbow Quilt, and the database is now showing only Rainbow Quilt patterns.
Step Five
If you have a favourite pattern designer, you may also like to search for patterns they have designed. Here you can see that I have typed Kristy Lea into the search bar, bringing up dozens of patterns created by our lovely Creative Director.
With over 500 projects to browse through, there is something for everyone โ at any skill level. Your only problem will be deciding which pattern to start first! Once you have found that perfect pattern, you can click ‘Purchase Issue’ and purchase the single issue that your pattern is in. Alternatively, you can sign up to our All-Access Subscription and get instant access to our entire catalogue of Make Modern issues with all 500+ projects and patterns!
