Picture the scene…you spend many happy hours choosing the pattern and fabric. Then move onto that annoying, but necessary, cutting phase. After that you’ve reached the main bit, sewing all those pieces back together again. Possibly a little unpicking (the less said about that the better!). Having faced down the basting phase you are finally ready to add the quilting. When suddenly you are struck down with ‘quilt freeze’, your mind has gone completely blank. You have absolutely no idea how to quilt it. And so you don’t. Your beautiful piece of patchwork gets relegated to the WIP pile and never gets made into a quilt. Oh how deeply sad! In this post we are going to talk about getting you over that quilt freeze stage, so that you’ll be able to figure out how you’re going to quilt your quilts!
