✂️ What is Fussy Cutting?

If you haven’t heard the term before, fussy cutting is when you pick a very specific part of your fabric to feature in your quilt block — perfect for highlighting gorgeous prints and little details you love. 🥰 For her quilt, Anne used fussy cutting to really make her feature diamonds pop!

Anne’s feature diamonds are made with prints from Tula Pink’s Everglow collection — and honestly, if there was ever a fabric collection made for fussy cutting, it’s Tula’s! Bright, bold, and full of amazing little creatures and shapes just begging to be spotlighted. ✨

In this week’s video, Anne shows you how to fussy cut your feature diamonds from your fabric, and how to make a cardboard cutting template to make life a little easier. After all, there are quite a few diamonds to cut!
