We’ve teamed up with the fabulous Anne Boundy from Said With Love to bring you an eight-week quilting adventure featuring her brand-new Moon Diamond quilt pattern – available exclusively in Make Modern Issue 64.
Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or brand new to quilting, this is your chance to have fun, learn some new tricks, and create a beautiful quilt alongside our warm, welcoming community of quilters!
🧵 Moon Diamond Sewalong Details
Starting Monday 2 June 2025 we’ll be sewing the Moon Diamond quilt together over 8 weeks, with weekly emails full of helpful tips, video tutorials from Anne, and a step-by-step guide to keep you on track (and inspired!).
To participate, you will need a copy of the pattern, which you’ll find exclusively in Make Modern Issue 64. If you’re not already a subscriber, you can choose to purchase a single copy of Issue 64 (and get 9 other lovely patterns too) or better yet, subscribe to Make Modern or get yourself an All-Access pass (which gives you instant access to every issue we’ve ever published). You can get yours using Anne’s special affiliate links. You won’t pay any extra, but Anne will receive a percentage to support her work as a designer. Bonus, with a subscription you’ll get so many wonderful, inspiring projects, interviews and articles delivered every two months to inspire you to quilt year-round! 💖

✂️ Choosing Your Fabrics
In Week 1, we will be chatting all things fabric. You might like to recreate Anne’s gorgeous version of the Moon Diamond quilt using Tula Pink fabrics, or you could go rogue and dive into your scrap basket for a one-of-a-kind masterpiece (I am thinking this will be perfect to show off some of my favourite prints … in rainbow order of course!)! If you’d rather let someone else do the hard work (because honestly, sometimes picking fabrics is the hardest part!), you’re in luck! Some of our fave fabric stores have created Moon Diamond fabric kits so you can jump right in!
