What’s in Make Modern Issue 50?

You know when your kids hit a milestone birthday and you can’t quite figure out how they got there so fast? Well, apparently, it’s the same when your ‘baby’ is a magazine. It’s wild for us to believe that we’ve been publishing Make Modern for over eight years, and here we are at Issue 50. We can still remember pouring our hearts and souls into the launch of Issue One and then realising we had to turn around and do it all again! What started as a random conversation in the carpark after quilt group has given us our dream jobs – obsessing over quilts and calling it work. When we launched Make Modern from our Australian homes, it never occurred to us that we could eventually have readers in over 70 countries worldwide, but we do! Whether you’re new to the magazine of you’ve been with us since the beginning, we love having you in our Make Modern family! This issue is a celebration of the last 50 and a huge thank you to you, our loyal readers, for quilting along with us!

And because it’s our 50th issue AND the start of a brand-new year, we’ve made a super handy WIP Tracker to help you organise your quilt projects for the year – FREE with Issue 50.
